High Temperature Drum Heater 0-200°C

 

 

The High Temperature Drum Heater 0-200°C is a powerful and versatile solution for heating metal drums and maintaining their contents at a consistent temperature or required viscosity.

 

Different sizes are available for metal drums ranging from 25/30 L to 200 L, allowing the appropriate heater to be selected according to drum size and heating requirements.

 

The integrated digital thermostat with a 0-200°C adjustment range provides precise temperature control, while a separate safety thermostat provides additional system protection.

 

The heater is manufactured from silicone-impregnated cloth with internal fiberglass insulation and Teflon heating wire. Adjustable quick-release buckles allow fast and secure installation around the metal drum.

 

It is suitable for heating and temperature maintenance of products including water, oils, diesel fuel, resins, petroleum jelly, waxes and fats, as well as other industrial liquids that require consistent temperature or viscosity.

 

Its durable lightweight construction and secure fastening straps also make the heater suitable for applications where product temperature or viscosity must be maintained during drum transportation, provided that the operating and electrical supply conditions are appropriate.

 

The heating jacket can also be used in combination with heating cabinets or heating ovens. A suitable Base Drum Heater may be added when a faster heating process is required.

IMPORTANT

The digital thermostat has an adjustable range of 0-200°C. The actual maximum permissible operating temperature must always be determined according to the product being heated, the metal drum and the conditions of the specific application.

The standard heater is supplied with IP40 protection. An IP54 version is available for applications involving increased moisture or water spray. The appropriate version must be selected according to the actual installation conditions.

Applications in hazardous areas where potentially explosive atmospheres may occur require suitably certified ATEX heating equipment.

 

 

TIP

For a faster heating process, a suitable Base Drum Heater can be added so that heat is supplied simultaneously from underneath and around the sides of the drum.

The optional Insulation Top Lid can be used to reduce heat loss through the top surface of a 200 L drum.
