Silicone Drum Heater Bands 0-120°C

Kuhlmann Electro-Heat Silicone Drum Heater Bands 0-120°C provide a simple, flexible and effective solution for heating liquids and other products inside standard metal drums.

Manufactured from durable silicone materials, the heater bands are designed for quick and easy installation around the drum. An integrated thermostat provides adjustable temperature control from 0 to 120°C.

Different heater sizes are available for metal drums from 25/30 L to 200 L, allowing the appropriate version to be selected according to drum size and required heating power.

On a standard 200 L drum, up to 3 Silicone Drum Heaters can be installed to increase the total heating capacity and significantly accelerate the heating process.

Heating can reduce the viscosity of products that become thicker at lower temperatures, making pumping, pouring and complete drum discharge easier.

In addition to standard sizes, Kuhlmann can manufacture custom-size silicone heaters on request for applications where standard dimensions do not meet the requirements of the container or installation.

Specifications

IMPORTANT

The thermostat has an adjustable range of 0-120°C. The actual maximum permissible operating temperature must always be determined according to the product being heated, the metal drum and the conditions of the specific application.

Using multiple heater bands increases the total heating capacity of the system. Each heater must be installed and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Applications in hazardous areas where potentially explosive atmospheres may occur require suitably certified ATEX heating equipment.

TIP

A single heater band can be used on a 200 L drum for temperature maintenance, while multiple bands can be installed when faster heating is required. Kuhlmann allows up to 3 Silicone Drum Heaters to be fitted to one standard 200 L drum.
