The Kuhlmann Electro-Heat Drum Heater 200L for Food & Pharma is a high-temperature heating jacket specifically designed for applications within the food and pharmaceutical industries.

 

It is designed for controlled heating of fluids in 200 L metal drums and allows the contents to be heated up to 120°C, always subject to the maximum permissible temperature of the product being heated.

 

Controlled heating can help maintain the required product temperature and viscosity, making handling, pumping and processing easier for materials that become more viscous at lower temperatures.

 

The heater is manufactured from special Silicone/Glass fabric materials designed to meet the requirements of food and pharmaceutical industry applications, with emphasis on hygiene, durability and repeated industrial use.

 

A glass filament blanket provides thermal insulation, while the silicone-insulated spiral-wound resistance element distributes heat across the drum surface.

 

Adjustable quick-release webbing straps allow fast and easy installation or removal. The durable construction also makes the heater suitable for applications where a drum must maintain a specific temperature or viscosity during transportation.

 

Two 1200 W configurations are available: a 1200 W single-zone version and a 2 x 600 W two-zone version, allowing the most suitable configuration to be selected for the application.

IMPORTANT

The heater has a temperature range of 0-120°C. The actual maximum operating temperature must always be limited by the maximum permissible temperature of the product being heated, the metal drum and the specific production process.

This product is intended for metal drums. Applications in hazardous areas containing potentially explosive gases or dust require a suitably certified ATEX heating solution.

 

 

TIP

For improved thermal efficiency and reduced heat loss through the top of the drum, a suitable drum insulation lid may be used.
