Quartz Sand 0.5–1.0 mm is a high-quality, natural filtration medium designed for use in pool water sand filters. With carefully controlled grain size and high silica content, it provides efficient mechanical filtration by trapping suspended particles, fine debris and impurities, helping to maintain clear, clean and healthy pool water.

This specific grain size range offers an ideal balance between filtration efficiency and water flow, ensuring stable filter performance without excessive pressure loss. It is suitable for both residential and commercial swimming pools, as well as water treatment applications where reliable granular filtration is required.

The sand is clean, dry and low in organic impurities, allowing immediate installation without additional washing. Its high hardness and durability ensure long service life and consistent performance over time.It is not intended for industrial use or sandblasting.

Remember

That the useful lifespan of the sand in your filter is 3-5 years. If you neglect to change the sand, your filter will not be able to remove the finer particles of dirt and your swimming pool can never be completely clean. Have the pool filter opened for inspection at leastevery 2 years to avoid filtration problems.
