It’s essential for concrete suppliers to consider how they wash out their vehicles and properly handle and dispose of alkaline washout water.

It is no longer acceptable to wash out directly onto the ground. Not only does this cause real environmental contamination every time, but there is a high risk of financial penalty through increasing enforcement action, as well as the potential negative public image.

The Solution

A lightweight, polyethylene washout system, carried on the vehicle and used at the point of concrete delivery. The unique design of the AwayWash collects the washout water from the chute and separates the coarse material from the water.

The alkaline washout water is taken away for recycling or to an appropriate disposal point and the retained aggregate can be reused or recycled.
