Maintenance Absorbent Socks

Our Maintenance Absorbent Socks are manufactured from 100% polypropylene outer and filler. This high capacity absorbent is ideal for diverting or “pooling” spills. They are also useful for placing alongside or around machinery, tanks or drums to prevent any leaks spreading across the floor.

The Maintenance Absorbent Socks is 100% meltblown polypropylene and are hydrophilic and is suitable for most common industrial liquids including oils, coolant, soft chemicals, detergents and solvent based spills.

Maintenance socks have a strong polypropylene outer skin and highly absorbent filler and features include a good filled weight providing stability to prevent movement and consequent spread of liquids.

The Maintenance Absorbent Socks are colour coded to the BSIF Standards for easy recognition..

Technical Data

Sorbency: Lower figure test method to BS 7959-1:2004 using water. Higher figure based on high viscosity liquid with no drain.
