Emergency Drain Plugging Mats

Emergency clay drain plugging mats to instantly seal a drain to prevent spilt oils and chemicals flowing into storm drain and out to controlled waters.

Our drain plugging mats fit the contours of drains to create a complete seal on uneven or broken drains. Due to their flexibility you can easily plug misshapen drains.

Dammit clay drainmats are treated with a formula which prevents mould growth and anti-freeze properties so the mat remains flexible down to -20°C.

Dammit mats should be placed in areas of high risk.

Use

• Step 1: Remove mat from the protective bag.
• Step 2: Peel off plastic sheet from underside.
• Step 3: Place mat on drain sticky side down.
• Step 4: Tread on mat to ensure complete contact with drain.

Properties

• Highly flexible and strong (Non-woven reinforcing layer)
• Excellent adhesion to all surfaces
• Usable down to -20°C

Compatibility

Good resistance to water, oil and a wide range of chemicals over short-term exposure (1-5 hrs), and in many cases for at least 24 hrs. Full details available on request.

Shelf Life

 3 years (In sealed pot or bag).

Pack Type

Mats are supplied wrapped in thin polythene film inside a sealed polythene bag, with tags for easy opening. The bags are packed in heavy-duty cardboard cartons for storage and shipping.
