Function : Granular form of Chlorine shock treatment for larger volume pools that are not emptied on a regular basis. Can also be used as a chlorine sanitiser for indoor pools. We recommend that you only buy sufficient chlorine shock to last one season. The reason is that the chlorine gradually attacks the plastic materials it is packaged in making them brittle and weak.
Dosing Rates :
  • Pool (Regular Dose):  2 grams per 1 m3 of pool water after pH requlation every night. To increase the free chlorine level by 0,5 ppm add 100 grams per 100 m3. If algae is present you may need to double or even treble the recommended dose.
  • Pool (Shock Dose) : 10 grams per 1 m3 (1 kg per 100 m3) pool water after pH requlation.
  • Drinking Water : 5 grams (a teaspoon) increases the chlorine level by 2,5 ppm in a 1,000 litre spa.
