Active Oil Absorbent Bilge Boom

Our Active oil absorbent bilge booms are designed for use in bilges or sumps. Removes oils without emptying your bilges and sumps, no matter how deep they are. 

Shorter length is ideal for tight spaces. 3m length of rope attached to one end allows for easy installation and retrieval of the bilge boom. As well as second ring for attaching bilge booms together. Easy Deployment, Easy Retrieval

This strong and porous outer combined with the highly absorbent polypropylene filler makes for a high performance bilge boom.

Drizit Active oil bilge booms are hydrophobic, so will not sink even when saturated with oil.

Technical Data

Sorbency: Lower figure test method to BS 7959-1:2004 using SAE10W40 motor oil. Higher figure based on high viscosity liquid with no drain.
