Tests: Low Range and High Range Total Hardness
Our Total Hardness test strips measure calcium and magnesium, the two minerals that primarily make up hardness in water, up to 1000 ppm CaCO3. High hardness contributes to scale formation and cloudy water. Low hardness can leave water aggressive and corrosive. Maintain appropriate levels of hardness to prevent the water from becoming corrosive or scale-forming.
Range : 0-25-50-120-250-500-1000 ppm CaCO3.
Just dip an AquaChek Total Hardness strip in your pool or spa water for one second and remove it immediately. You get test results in seconds!
To keep you pool water clean and healthy, test the water at two ends or sides of the pool a minimum of twice a week! If used in a spa we recommend testing it before and after each use. It’s also a good idea to write down your results each time you test.
