“Modular Multi Effect” vacuum evaporator fit to concentrate high capacities of waste and water based solutions. High-efficiency horizontal immersed heat exchanger. Full automatic operation system by PLC display of main parameters by LCD screen. All evaporation units aim at the natural separation of water from a pollutant solution avoiding the addition of chemicals and human’s assistance. The system can self carry out all operations of filling, treatment, discharging of the distillate and evacuation of the concentrate, and all controls as to guarantee a perfect and safety operation. The goal of our evaporation plants is the reduction of pollutants obtaining a distillate that can be recycled for a new production process, or discharged respecting environmental laws. Multiple Effect Vacuum EvaporatorsA very efficient method of evaporation is that obtained by the use of multiple effect systems. The working principle respects the simple physic reaction of a liquid exposed to heating but exploiting the vacuum degree that allows a low temperature operation. The energy required by the machine is hot water, steam or any other liquid hot source, and does not require power or fuel to run. It is so possible to treat large capacities of liquids with very limited costs. The machine consists of one, two or three vacuum vessels so joined together that the hot source feeds the first vessels (or called boiler); the steam produced by the boiling of the wastewater flows to the second boiler, and the steam generated in the second goes to heat the third vessel, or condensed by a condenser.
The effect is like a “cascade” with evident energy saving. In fact, the energy absorbed by a three-effect plant, is 1/3 of the energy required by a one-effect unit with same production capacity. The machine is very economical in its use and the total absence of cooling circuits or sophisticated equipment guarantees a safety operation and a very limited maintenance.
